The Newton facility has led a small manufacturing community through continued growth since its first pour in 1971. With rising demand for ESCO products, the facility is now considered ESCO's U.S. Flagship foundry and showcases recent technological advancement made in cutting-edge equipment and innovation.
The Manufacturing Supervisor (Melting) ensures compliance with all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) rules and regulations; executes safety, quality, and production targets using continuous improvement, process management, and PDCA to uncover issues and drive improvement throughout Melting operations. Focused on providing quality to customers.
Job Duties:
Effectively manage teams and motivate others
Clearly communicate job expectations to employees
Plan and monitor labor vs. production needs
Perform regularly scheduled performance reviews for hourly employees
Conduct hiring interviews
Review profit and loss; participate in and drive Pipeline Savings projects to ensure year over year cost savings
Job Qualifications:
Must meet one of the following criteria to be considered:
Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of experience as a manufacturing supervisor or team lead
Associate's degree with 2+ years' experience as a foundry supervisor or team lead
Associate's degree with 3+ years' experience as a team lead or supervisor, in a non-foundry environment
High School diploma with 4+ years' experience as a foundry supervisor or team lead
Additional Criteria:
Experience leading and advising direct reports, or leading a significant team project with experience effectively motivating others to complete tasks and objectives
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) desired
Must be willing and able to travel up to 5% domestically
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Solid understanding of Continuous Improvement and related activities
Positive and effective communication and collaboration skills
High energy and highly motivated with strong external and internal customer focus
Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members
Able to work both independently and as an effective team member
Working Environment: Foundry environment, 80% on Shop floor, 20% office

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
