Sr. Lean and CI Leader

Job Duties: Provide support for Lean and Continuous Improvement activities within the site Support Technical Leaders, Operators, and Manufacturing Managers through coaching and disciplined problem solving to develop a sustainable organizational capability in continuous improvement Provide hands-on training and coaching in Lean tools and concepts including, but not limited to, VSM, standardized Work, PDCA/A3 problem solving, Kaizen event leadership and rapid cycle improvement, process analysis, process management, 6S, Lean office, Lean leadership, etc. Initiate and drive best practices within the site; work across functions creating standardized processes, systems, and training materials Develop site CI plans; manage the plan execution to achieve the strategic objectives Facilitate site events in support of business strategies and activities Plan and execute Weir Production System assessments at the site to identify gaps in the standards and drive continuous improvement. Adopt and promote Weir's SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) standards and culture Propose and coordinate layout changes and time studies Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Operations Management or Engineering Five years' experience working in a Lean deployment role in a manufacturing-based operation Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Lean principles and manufacturing tools, and successful experience implementing continuous improvement projects Knowledge of core manufacturing concepts related to capacity, lead time, inventories, etc. Able to train and educate peers, staff, and operators in Lean methodologies and the Continuous Improvement culture, including planning and facilitating Kaizen events Data-based analysis and problem-solving skills Proficiency using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Willing and able to travel up to 10% domestically and 5% international as needed Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States Other: Six Sigma Black Belt preferred Work Environment: Includes office and manufacturing/shop floor environments Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30 lbs., climb ladders, and work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
